Spoke at Early Years Conference, North Ayrshire. Attended by 80 people – local authority and heath staff with responsibility for some aspect of early years. Laid out views on early years – during Q&A was drawn on views regarding legislation and resource transfer – since reported back to SG and will be useful to follow up with meeting.
Meeting with Morag O’Driscoll, Scottish Child Law Centre. Morag provided information on current situation at SCLC and floated idea of more formal working arrangements.
