I attended the first regional network meeting focussed on the implementation of Getting It Right For Every Child, held in Glasgow.  The meeting was well attended with around 50 representatives from health, social work, education and the voluntary sector.  My main impression was positive in terms of the promotion of getting it right through sharing good practice, although I did not really get to spend much time at the event as my attendance was interrupted by media calls on the back of the launch of my office’s Child Trafficking report.
