Meeting with Paul Grice, Scottish Parliament. This was another update meeting with the parliamentary Commissioners. The main items discussed were progress on the shared services agenda and preparing budgets for submission for 2011-2012.
Meeting with Promoting Positive Images Group – Katie and Ezmie present. This group is steadily developing an agenda and focus for future work on challenging the negative media portrayal of young people. There is a need to consider next steps, the membership of the group and how this is driven in the strategic plan.
Reception and Tattoo – Sarah Louise present. We attended a reception held by the Army Cadets at Queensferry. This was attended by guests of the Cadets for a showing of the Tattoo later in the evening. It was a group of around 30 people, including 5 politicians (two from government). The Tattoo was a late showing, and thankfully, the rain stayed off. Sarah Louise has since followed up for the Cadets to be signed up to ‘a RIGHT blether’.
