Cathy Begley, Nico Juetten and I met with Sarah Smith and the senior deputes in Children and Families at Scottish Government – Lesley Fraser, Shirley Laing and Julie Robertson. The meeting was a good opportunity to share the updated office Strategic Plan with Scottish Government colleagues and for them to share their understanding of the early priorities of the new administration. There are many areas of synergy and it looks like we will be engaging in early discussions to clarify where there may be opportunities in terms of the legislative proposals.
