I briefed a BBC journalist putting together a programme on children in employment and linking this to protection/risk taking.
Meeting with the Child Health Support Group. This is a Ministerial Advisory Group and it was an opportunity to lay out my strategic approach – focussed on issues around early years implementation.
Meeting with Fraser Falconer, BBC Children in Need. Fraser is interested in a number of angles for my involvement in Children in Need activities and this has been passed to Katie to progress – the most ambitious is a celebration of Children in Need involving 3500 participants on the night and incorporates elements of a RIGHT blether in the programme.
