Meeting with UKBA – Nico (SCCYP Parliamentary Officer) present. The meeting time was squeezed, but very productive along the lines of pressing hard for alternative models of deportation other than detention – UKBA informed of where judiciary are at regarding Judicial Reviews and useful discussion on other family return models. We are due to revisit in early March for meeting with Children’s Champion and viewing of family detention film.
