Meeting with health therapists and Rod Burns (Scottish Government) in Glasgow – Stefan present. This was a long-planned meeting and most useful interaction to hear first hand experiences of an already very experienced group. Lots for Rod to follow up and he reiterated the SG desire for close collaboration in progressing the work.
Meeting with Children’s Rights Network – An opportunity to meet with this group and lay out agenda. They suggested annual event, it may be a closer partnership as suggested they link into the work of SACR regarding UN Concluding Observations monitoring – however, limits on scope as most are focussed on children in care.
Meeting with Stephan Naysmith (Herald). This was part of an occasional round of meeting – discussed and agreed to action opinion piece on cutbacks to children’s services.
