Visit to Cornton Vale YOI – Katie and Nico present. We met with the Governor and shared views on the imprisonment of 16/17 year old young people. We met with two separate groups, involving around 35 total. Both groups were lively and provide plenty food for thought in terms of issues and the potential for a more structured piece of work with the prison. Since then Media Education has engaged with Cornton Vale which may provide an in for the future.
