Make a difference with SCCYP and SYP
A wise man called Gandhi once said "be the change you want to see in the world", and the man from SCCYP says YES!
Want to get involved in making a real difference in your life and in the lives of other children and young people? Read on to find out more about the BIGGEST thing that is happening for children and young people in Scotland this year.
This week the Scottish Youth Parliament launched their campaign to gather the views of thousands of young people. The areas are based on the top 50 issues identified by their members from across Scotland. All views gathered through all or any of the five short questionnaires you can fill in by clicking HERE will help the Commissioner's team choose the final top 20 issues that will be taken forward as part of the office's national consultation called a RIGHT blether.
This November you can then vote at the RIGHT blether vote.
Your vote in November will then identify the top four issues that children and young people in Scotland want Tam Baillie and his team to work hard on for the next four years on your behalf.
So putting your energy into helping create the SYP manifesto will also help create some of the future work priorities for SCCYP – and your choices will, therefore, make a real difference to the lives of children and young people now in the near future.
Still with is?! Basically have you voice heard- fill out the SYP survey now and then come back and vote a RIGHT blether in November.
This matters. Be the change.
