Come and have a RIGHT BIG blether
Now that the vote is closed and the results of a RIGHT blether have been counted, a RIGHT BIG blether offers children, young people and adults who work with and for them the opportunity to hear the findings, compare priorities and plan together what will happen next.
This event will be hosted on behalf of Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People by Susan Morrison, one of Scotland’s leading comedians and social commentators, and the young consultants of macrobert.
9.30 am - 3.15pm
The Morning:
Celebrate how children and young people experience their rights in their homes, where they learn, in their communities and across the nation.
The Afternoon:
Share the challenges facing those who run services for children and young people, and work together across the generations to explore how the Commissioner and others might now respond to the results of the RIGHT blether vote.
All day:
Enjoy an exhibition dedicated to celebrating the promotion of children’s rights in action across Scotland.
Take part in hands on activities designed to make sure children’s and young people’s opinions are expressed, captured and promoted to the wider world throughout the day.
From a distance...
Pupils in school who cannot make the event but would still like to participate can take part in the a RIGHT BIG blether GLOW sessions that will be running on the day.
You will be joined by:
