Is your family #thrivingorsurviving?
What’s it like raising a family in Britain today? Children and families charity 4Children have launched a major inquiry to find out.
Over the next few months, the charity want to speak to as many children, young people, parents and carers as possible in order to gain a full understanding of modern family life in Britain― and what can be done to better support it.
Are families just surviving?
A national poll of 2000 parents commissioned by the charity suggests that life is hard for many of Britain’s families.
In it, a quarter of parents described their family as “surviving: only just coping”, while only one in three believed their children’s standard of living would be better than their own.
