Working with SCCYP

SCCYP Reference Group

In Autumn 2006 SCCYP appointed 12 young people aged 14-21 to our Reference Group to advise us on all aspects of our work - from how best to get our message across to what those messages should be.

The main responsibilities of the group are:
? to act as a sounding board for SCCYP;
? to promote the rights of children and young people throughout Scotland by supporting the work of SCCYP; and
? to contribute to the overall work of SCCYP, including helping to drive forward the 'Safe, Active, Happy' initiative and developing creative and imaginative ways to promote the work of SCCYP.
